A café with history
Since the 1920s the riverside hosted shipbuilding, boatyards, shipping, and timber towing. In the early '80s the buildings were converted into a boat museum.

About us
"A gathering place for groups large and small - from late morning into the evening, at the river's edge."
Café Kajutan is a gathering place by the riverside, a short distance from Skellefteå city centre - open to big parties as well as quiet coffee breaks. We serve our well-known shrimp sandwiches alongside chicken, meatball, or anchovy & egg. For something more filling we offer pizza, baked potatoes, and Swedish pancakes for the little ones.
